More About Mo
In elementary school, Maureen loved reading realistic fiction with Judy Bloom and all kinds of Mysteries. As an adult, her love of reading grew. She broadened her horizons to include the genres of Non-Fiction, Poetry and Memoir. Mo has journaled throughout her adult life, although the idea of authoring a book began as a seed about 25 years ago. She knew she would always write it, and this year was the year. It is a Memoir that’s very dear to her heart. It walks people through a faith story, unfolding what happens when we say yes to God, doing the hard things in life, as we choose to trust.
Mo is a member of Cascade Christian Writers, where she attended the June 2025 conference in Portland, OR. She’s enrolled in an on-line cohort: Authentic Booklaunching 2025. Maureen has made lasting friendships, mentors, and support in honing her writing skills.
Maureen currently lives in Nashville, TN., where life is peaceful and rich! If she isn’t writing, you’ll find her serving at church on the prayer team and choir, as well as in her community. She’s a facilitator for ARMS-Abuse Recovery Ministry Services, and Hope Clinic for Women in Nashville.
Mo has a heart for Jesus and loving others well. She cherishes time with her daughter, traveling to new places, engaging in fun, fresh adventures, and making Grandma O’s Homemade Waffles.
To stay physically active, Mo walks every morning, spending time in His creation. She also enjoys time on the golf course, either playing a round or following her favorite PGA players at various championships. To unwind, Mo loves kicking back, watching movies, or the Minnesota Vikings take on a division rival. SKOL!
